My name is Eliran Ashraf and I'm a Textile And Fashion Designer and Illustrator. I'm originally from Tel Aviv, Israel and currently working in Geneva, Switzerland.
I graduated from Shenkar High College in 2013 after specializing in knitwear and textile printing techniques.

I started the UNDER/CONSTRUCTION brand 2014 as a house of textile & menswear design. I design in my studio in Switzerland and produce under the best conditions in Israel.

My inspiration revolves around urban structures, street art, modern and post-modern architecture. As someone who comes from a multi-cultural place like Israel, i'm also intrigued by the idea of tribes, authentic tribal textiles and patterns.
For me, my creation is about the idea of fashion as an exchange between textile, architecture and the human body.
The items may be made with men in mind, however completely unisex. They're made for anyone who likes to play and experiment with wearable fashion; Men, women and everything in between.

I sign my work with the title "UNDER/CONSTRUCTION" for it's architectural inspiration but also because I like to think of my creations as a "work in progress" , a collage work of bits and pieces of identities, inspirations and languages.
